What Clients Say

Real results.
Real business owners.

Names changed to protect confidentiality. Outcomes are real.

"Before DBP Growth, our month-end close took three weeks and I still didn't trust the numbers. Within 60 days they had our P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow dialed in. Now I get my report on the 5th of every month — and I actually understand it."

M. Reyes
CEO, Technology Services Firm
Growth Tier · ZOHO Books

"We were burning cash and had no idea why. The 360° monthly analysis identified that our service margins had quietly dropped 14 points over six months. That single insight saved us. The CFO advisory meetings alone are worth ten times the cost."

P. Santamaría
COO, Professional Services Group
Enterprise Tier · QuickBooks Online

"I was paying a bookkeeper and still making financial decisions blind. The Startup tier gave me a monthly income statement and cash flow that I can actually share with my board. We went from guessing to governing in one quarter."

L. Thornton
Founder, Healthcare Technology Startup
Startup Tier · Xero
Why DBP Growth

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need
to know before you start.

We work with virtually any accounting system through two delivery modes:

File-based delivery — For any platform, simply export your standard reports (trial balance, P&L, balance sheet) and upload them to our secure portal. We handle the analysis from there — no system access required.

Direct integration via API — For platforms with available APIs, we connect directly to pull live data without any manual exports or file transfers. Supported platforms include QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop, Xero, NetSuite, Sage Intacct, FreshBooks, Wave, and several others.

Our process doesn't require you to change your existing stack — we extract, structure, and transform your data into executive-ready reports and dynamic live dashboards (Tier 2+). During your onboarding call, we'll confirm compatibility with your specific tools and workflows. If your system isn't listed, contact us — if it exports standard financial data or has an accessible API, we can work with it.
Billing is managed entirely through ZOHO Subscriptions — our secure, PCI-compliant payment platform. When you subscribe, you'll be redirected to a ZOHO-hosted checkout page where you enter your card details. DBP never stores or handles payment information directly. Subscriptions are month-to-month; your card is charged on the same date each month. You can cancel anytime with 30 days' notice.
Within two business days of your subscription, a member of our team will contact you to schedule your onboarding call. During onboarding (typically 30 minutes) we'll: confirm your accounting platform and access, establish reporting preferences and delivery schedule, and set up your first reporting period. Your first report set is delivered within 5–7 business days of onboarding completion.
No long-term contract — all tiers are month-to-month. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time with 30 days' written notice. We believe our value speaks for itself, so we don't lock you in. When you subscribe, you'll accept our Service Agreement (a plain-language document) which outlines deliverables, timelines, and cancellation terms.
We take data security seriously. Access to your accounting system is read-only — we never modify your records. All connections are encrypted. Your data is used exclusively to produce your reports and is never shared with third parties. Our Data Processing Agreement (DPA), which you accept at subscription, details exactly how your data is processed, retained, and protected in compliance with applicable privacy laws including GDPR and CCPA.
Startup ($500/mo) — Best for businesses under $2M revenue that need clean, professional financial statements and variance analysis for board or investor reporting.

Professional ($1,000/mo) — Best for businesses $2M–$5M revenue ready to move beyond basic reporting. Adds live dashboards, KPI tracking, and deeper financial visibility to support active management decisions.

Growth ($1,500/mo) — Best for businesses $5M–$10M revenue that need cash flow forecasting, forward-looking financial planning, and custom reporting to drive growth decisions with confidence.

Enterprise ($2,000/mo) — Best for businesses $10M+ or preparing for a capital raise, exit, or major strategic decision. Includes monthly CFO advisory meetings and direct partner access.

Not sure? Email us or book a free discovery call — we'll recommend the right fit.
Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade at any time. Upgrades take effect at the start of the next billing cycle. Downgrades take effect 30 days after your written request. There are no penalties for changing tiers.
A Forensic Review ($800 one-time) is a deep audit of your general ledger and journal entries — identifying misclassified transactions, duplicate entries, reconciliation errors, and other issues that distort your financial statements. It's recommended if: your books haven't been reconciled in 6+ months, you're onboarding after a bookkeeper change, you have conflicting financial figures, or you're preparing for a sale, audit, or capital raise. It's not required to start your subscription but many clients add it during onboarding.
A bookkeeper records past transactions. An accountant audits those records and manages tax compliance. A Fractional CFO uses that financial data to shape the future — building forecasts, analyzing performance, protecting cash flow, and advising leadership on decisions that drive growth.

DBP Growth CFO Services focus entirely on the strategic and forward-looking layer: turning your numbers into a story and that story into a clear action plan.
Not necessarily. Many clients come to us with messy or incomplete records — that's exactly why we offer a Forensic Accounting Review as a one-time add-on ($800). We audit your general ledger and journals, identify issues, and create a correction plan so we can start building on a solid foundation.

Once your books are clean, we move straight into reporting, dashboards, or forecasting depending on your chosen tier.
We begin with a 30-minute discovery conversation (subscribers schedule it online) to understand your business, goals, and current financial environment. Within the first 30 days — with confirmation of the close month to report on — clients typically have their first executive financial reports ready for review: income statement, balance sheet, cash flow, and variance analysis.
Yes — our leadership team has deep experience across Latin America, Canada, and the United States, including executive roles at Microsoft and Oracle spanning both regions. We understand multi-currency reporting, cross-border financial complexity, and the regional nuances that affect growing businesses operating in both markets.

We can deliver reports and dashboards that consolidate performance across geographies and currencies, giving leadership a single, clear view of the entire business.
We work with your existing financial systems — whether that's QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite, or other platforms commonly used across the US and Latin America. Our process is built to extract, structure, and transform your data into executive-ready reports and dynamic live dashboards (Tier 2+) without requiring you to change your existing stack.

During your onboarding call we'll confirm compatibility with your specific tools and workflows. If your platform isn't listed, reach out — if it exports standard financial data or has an accessible API, we can work with it.
Each monthly CFO review is led by an experienced member of the DBP Growth team and tailored to your business context. A typical session covers the prior month's financial performance, key variances against budget or forecast, cash flow status, and strategic priorities for the coming period.

Meetings can include the business owner, CEO, COO, or any leadership stakeholder who needs financial clarity. We prepare a concise briefing document in advance, so every minute is spent on decisions — not data review.
Absolutely. Our service model is designed to be modular and scalable — you start at the tier that matches your current needs and expand as your business grows and financial complexity increases.

There are no long-term contracts or lock-ins. We earn your business every month. If you want to scale up to add forecasting, dashboards, or executive meetings, we make that transition seamless. You can also scale down during slower cycles without penalty.
Investors and lenders require clean, credible financials — and many growing businesses aren't ready when the opportunity arrives. Our services directly address this: Tier 1 establishes structured, audit-ready reports; Tier 3 adds 3-way financial planning (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) and multi-year projections that are exactly what capital providers want to see.

With DBP, you enter any funding conversation with well-organized historical financials, a forward-looking model, and a clear financial narrative — giving lenders and investors the confidence to say yes.
A homemade spreadsheet usually forecasts revenue in isolation. DBP's 3-Way Financial Planning integrates your P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statement into a single, interconnected model — so a change in sales automatically flows through to cash impact, working capital, and balance sheet position.

We also layer in AR, AP, and inventory projections, and build multi-year scenarios as needed. The result is a living financial model that gives leadership a real view of the future — not just a revenue guess dressed up as a plan.
We start every new client relationship with a short discovery conversation — no commitment required. We ask about your current financial environment, key challenges, and growth goals. From there, we recommend the tier that fits your needs right now.

As a general guide: if you lack structured reporting, start with Tier 1. If you make decisions faster with visual data, add Tier 2. If cash flow or growth planning keeps you up at night, move to Tier 3. If you want an expert in the room every month, Tier 4 is your partner.
